- Fees depend on the market type and your 14-day trading volume. At the base tier, TradFi perps cost 0.014% taker and 0.008% maker, crypto perps cost 0.070% taker and 0.040% maker, and buying on Hyperliquid spot costs 0.070% taker and 0.040% maker. Every rate is the total you pay, with Hyperliquid fees included.
- How do volume tiers lower my fees?
- Your tier is set by your rolling 14-day trading volume, from tier 0 up to tier 6 at >$7B. Rates step down at each tier. At tier 6, TradFi perps cost 0.0098% taker and 0.005% maker and crypto perps cost 0.049% taker and 0.025% maker.
- How can I get a fee discount?
- Stake $BASED or HYPE. Discounts start at 60,000 $BASED or 10 HYPE staked and grow with each staking tier. Use the Discount control on this page to see the rates you would pay.
- Which markets are charged TradFi Perps rates?
- Perp markets with growth mode enabled, which covers nearly all stock, index and commodity perps on TradeXYZ. Markets without growth mode, such as Gold and DATs linked to crypto holdings like MSTR, STRC and PURRDAT, are charged Crypto Perps rates.
- Are spot fees different when buying and selling?
- Yes. At the base tier, buying on Hyperliquid spot costs 0.070% taker and 0.040% maker and selling costs 0.170% taker and 0.140% maker. Token swaps outside Hyperliquid are priced separately.
